I chose NearPod to create my lesson this week. NearPod is an interactive website with ready made lessons for all levels. You can also create your own lessons, or edit lessons from their database. Students are able to interact with the lessons, and teachers receive immediate feedback. My lesson can be viewed here: https://share.nearpod.com/jIpoxxW6L4.
NearPod can be used in any classroom with devices available. I created a lesson that I can use during 4th quarter, and I plan to share it with my grade level. This is a social studies lesson, but NearPod could be used for any subject. It is very engaging, and students become so excited to participate in class.
Creating the lesson was simple. It took me a few minutes to learn how to navigate, and I had to take the time to explore the tools. I have used NearPod in the past, but I had never created my own lesson until now. Now that I’ve taken the time to figure it out, I will continue to create lessons in the future.

Awesome lesson. I also used Nearpod for my lesson. I teach middle school so mine was more question based. I loved that your lesson was interactive. The field trip to the USS Alabama was a great addition to the video. You designed it very well with many different learning points. Having a review at the end of the lesson was a great idea since you can check for the students understanding.

You created such a fun activity! I used Nearpod to create my lesson as well, but mine looked much different. I used a presentation and then immediate check for understanding type format. I really enjoyed using Nearpod and I liked how you incorporated several of the different tools available. Looking back, I wish that I would have been more adventurous when creating my presentation, but I will definitely be using Nearpod in my future classroom, so I will take the opportunity to explore these tools further! Overall awesome job!

Great lesson! I didn’t use NearPod, but it seems very similar to EdPuzzle which is what I used. After seeing your presentation, I definitely want to try NearPod out. I’m really enjoying getting to experience all of these new tools and resources since we will be moving into remote learning soon. Great job!

I just got introduced to Nearpod a few months ago and I absolutely love it! I used Nearpod as my lesson tool as well! Mine looks very different, but I can tell that students would have fun with your lesson. Great job!
